My work is rooted in the belief that the photographs we make today can become part of the archive we leave behind. I became a photographer because I wanted to help people tell their stories and create a visual record of their existence. Meet Dacia.
THE EXPERIENCE
YOU DON’T HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO BE IN FRONT OF A CAMERA.
You don’t need to know how to pose or worry about whether your children will cooperate. Your home doesn’t have to look perfect and you don’t need to know what to do with your hands. My job is to create an environment where you can relax and be yourselves while I pay attention to the moments that naturally unfold. I’ll offer direction when it helps and step back when the moment is better left alone. I want you to feel comfortable enough to forget about the camera and focus on the people you’re with. You don’t have to perform your life for me. You just have to live it.
